When every day feels like a struggle,
When your life seems messed up,
You do things that aren’t right
When you feel how tough is life.
You talk too much or not at all,
You feel like maybe it is your fault,
You doubt yourself, and you hate yourself for this
You start thinking about ‘what-ifs’.
You think and you blame
You feel lost, you feel desolate.
Friends will help and your family too,
But nothing will help until you do.
Then one day you wake up and decide
That from now, there will be no crying.
You get up from bed and you go out,
You start feeling refreshed and strong now.
Day after day those feelings fade,
You appreciate life, you appreciate yourself.
And that’s how you will learn from those ‘sometimes’
That you can get through anything in life.
